Vernon Bright and the Magnetic Banana

Vernon Bright is mad about science and can't resist meddling in it. When experimenting with magnetism he manages to turn himself into a magnet and it is up to his long-suffering friend, John Watts, to rescue him from the results. Life becomes tough when you attract any metal and becomes seriously worrying when Vernon travels by train - not in it but stuck to the outside because of his magnetic power. Dodgy Dave, a larger-than-life character and owner of an electro-magnet, finally saves the day.
