1. Your Account
The first time that you visit our Website, or before placing an order, you will be given an option to create an account with us.
Once you have set up an account, your account details will be kept securely on our system. Each time you visit our Website, you will be required to enter your email address and password in the ‘Log in’ menu.
If you have forgotten your password, click ‘Forgot password’ to reset your password and instructions will be sent to you.
When you sign in to your Account Details page, you can edit or delete saved billing and delivery addresses.
2. Your details
When you register with the My Children’s Book website, you will be required to choose a contact email address and password. You are responsible for all sessions and transactions made using these details. You should keep your password safe and not disclose it to anyone. Please notify us immediately if you believe your password has been compromised or there has been unauthorised use of your account.
My Children’s Books will not be held liable for any damage or loss of any kind suffered by you as a result of unauthorised use of your login name and password.
Any changes to your details must be made by signing into your account on the My Children’s Books website.
Please note that your credit card details are not stored on our servers at any time. All transaction are handled by our payment merchant, Adyen so will have to be entered for each purchase you make with us. My Children’s Books will never ask for this information through emails, SMS or telephone calls.
My Children’s Books is responsible for processing any orders placed using or purchased in connection with the Website.
To select products to order, simply select the desired condition and quantity and click on the ‘Add To Cart’ against the appropriate book title. Use the basket to view and modify the contents of your shopping basket.
Once you have finished shopping, please select ‘Checkout’ to place your order.
You will need to fill in billing address, shipping address, courier and payment details. Check all the details of your order before proceeding to our payment gateway to place your order.

4. Payment Options
Mychildrensbooks offers the following payment options:

We accept payment by the following credit cards;
- American Express
In addition to selecting card type, you will be required to enter your credit card number, expiry date and the name and address of the card holder. You will be asked for the CSC code - this is the three digits shown on the back of your card (or four digits on the front for American Express).
The Website uses Adyen, an independent payment service provider, to process credit and debit card payments. All sensitive payment card information is encrypted using e-payment software and is sent to the bank for instant authorisation of payment gateways. Transactions normally take a few seconds to be processed. During this time please do not fresh the page or press the F5 key.
5. Safe Shopping
We take your online security and privacy seriously. However, the security of any payments transmitted and processed via the internet cannot be guaranteed. Any losses incurred or sustained by you as a result of transmitting information by means of email or other internet link will be borne solely and exclusively by you.
6. Amending Your Order

7. Pricing Policy
We reserve the right to make an adjustment to any published price of any product due to input error, product discontinuation, and stock clearance.
The prices shown are only applicable to orders placed using or purchases made in connection with the Website. All prices are exclusive of delivery charges.
Every effort is made to ensure that all prices are correct at the time of display online. In the unlikely event of an administrative error resulting in an incorrect price being displayed on the Website, we reserve the right to correct the price. Where we discover an error in the price of any product that you have ordered or purchased, we will inform you of the error and the correct price as soon as possible. In these circumstances, you will not be bound to continue with your purchase, and we will ask you to send an email to us to confirm that you wish to proceed at the corrected price within a stated time. In the event that you do not wish to proceed at the corrected price, or do not reply within the stated time, or if we are unable to contact you, then we will cancel the order or purchase and refund the amount paid by you. In no circumstances will we be obliged to proceed with your order or purchase at an incorrect price, even if we have accepted your order for a product displayed at the incorrect price and/or failed to inform you of the error.
8. Special Offers
From time to time we may run special offers. These are available for limited times only. We reserve the right to withdraw the special offer or change any of the terms (including the availability and end date) of the special offer at any time without notice.
9. Accuracy of Information
My Children’s Books attempts to be as accurate as possible when describing its products on the website. However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, My Children’s Books does not warrant that the product descriptions, conditions, colours or other content available on the website are current or error-free.
